Over 156 community members showed up, on a beautiful fall morning, to walk the 2.5 mile River to Rodeo route through Ellensburg. Our event had the second largest turnout in the state. The event was supported by the City of Elensburg as part of the Association of Washington Cities. Free T-Shirts were handed out along with pedometers and prizes. The Ellensburg Park School District supplied a shuttle for participants who did not want to walk back to West Ellensburg Park and supplied books for every child that attended the event. Kids played in bouncy toys and enjoyed hot dogs and music in the park. |
