Criteria for Posting Events/Programs

This Calendar of Events and Programs is designed to promote local activities in Kittitas County that promote physical activity and healthy nutrition that are open to the public. To be considered, please complete an online submission form. Events will be considered for posting based on the following criteria:

• The event/program must contain at least some elements of physical activity or nutritional education.
• The event/program or its content may not directly or indirectly conflict with the vision and mission of Shape Up Kittitas County. The event/program must be open to the general public.
• Vision: Our vision is to have residents of Kittitas Valley communities pursue an active and healthy lifestyle.
• Mission: Our mission is to develop an infrastructure within Kittitas County, by means of a local coalition of key individuals from both public and private entities, that supports healthy lifestyles through planning, policy development and implementation of programs that promote wellness through physical activity and good nutrition.
• The event promoter must have filled out an online event form or have provided all the necessary information.
• Posting information must be submitted approximately 30 days in advance of the event-if it is not already an ongoing program.

Please note- The Shape Up Kittitas County Coalition reserves the right to refuse, add, remove or edit any materials from the website without notice. Submissions for posting are reviewed by Shape Up Kittitas County Coalition members for appropriateness of posting.
